Bridge Bank Adds to New East Bay Office
East Bay Banking Veteran Peter Mills Joins Lending Team


San Jose, CA - April 4, 2005 - Bridge Capital Holdings (NASDAQ: BBNK), whose sole subsidiary is Bridge Bank, National Association, Santa Clara County's newest full-service business bank, today announced that Peter Mills, veteran East Bay commercial banker and long-time Danville resident, has joined its business banking team at 2010 Crow Canyon Place, San Ramon, as Vice President of Corporate Banking.

Mr. Mills has extensive experience in banking and finance. In addition, he owned and managed his own computer training business during the 1990's. Before joining Bridge Bank, he was Vice President and Relationship Manager with the Bank of Walnut Creek. Prior to that, Mr. Mills owned his own business and spent six years as CFO of Franklin Bank, San Mateo. He previously spent three years as Director, Bank and Treasury Consulting with Coopers & Lybrand, and seven years in Corporate Banking with Wells Fargo Bank, San Francisco.

Mr. Mills earned both bachelors and masters degrees in finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL. He was a founding Director of the Center for Cash Management Studies of the Bank Administration Institute and has frequently been a guest lecturer for seminars sponsored by the American Management Association.
