Vice President-Relationship Manager, C&I, Palo Alto, CA

Bridge Bank is seeking a qualified individual as Vice President-Relationship Manager for the Palo Alto office. Duties include: maintaining, expanding and soliciting loan and deposit relationships with small businesses and middle market companies; managing an assigned portfolio of loan and deposit relationships; sourcing prospects and develop new customer relationships; analyzing creditworthiness, structuring and negotiating loan transactions, preparing loan proposals, and presenting credits to the loan committee for approval; preparing credit write-ups with the assistance of a credit analyst; maintaining acceptable credit quality and loan profitability standards; maintaining an effective calling program on customers, prospects and referral sources; identifying cross-selling opportunities and making appropriate referrals; accepting special projects in support of the team and community involvement.
 
Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or business and minimum 3-5 years of commercial lending experience
  • Previous relationship management and business development/sales skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills and problem-solving skills

Business Development Officer, SBA, San Jose

Bridge Bank is seeking a qualified individual as Business Development Officer in the SBA department.

Duties include: originating new SBA guaranteed 7(a), SBA 504 and First Deed of Trust Commercial Real Estate loans; telemarketing, direct mail/e-mail/fax and hosting referral breakfasts/luncheons; responding to incoming phone calls, organizing loan files, faxing and phoning borrower loan updates, database entry and management; assisting the processing of loan requests from initial borrower contact through loan funding including: interacting with loan officers to prepare loan application packages; interacting with borrowers for loan signing, documentation follow up, customer service, etc; ordering appraisals, environmental reports and preliminary title reports; completion of required correspondence including commitment letters, appraisal engagement letters; sourcing non-SBA loans as opportunities present themselves.
 
Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years solid sales experience
  • ability to analyze business and financial data.
  • Proven success in generating new business
  • Thorough understanding of local market, SBA lending practices and solid base of contacts required
