Role and Experience:
Scott joined Bridge Bank as a Senior Vice President in 2011 to establish and lead the Energy & Infrastructure Group (EIG). This specialization was developed out of the Technology Banking Group with the goal of growing a national practice by developing project financing in the cleantech and renewable space with a considerable focus on solar energy.
From 2005 until joining Bridge Bank, Scott played a key role in deal execution and deal structuring in the NY offices of several large European banks. His experience includes review, analysis, credit approval and/or funding of over $20bn of structured finance and project finance transactions in the renewable energy space (including solar, wind, biofuels and hydro), large infrastructure (including toll roads, bridges, tunnels and social accommodation) and other water and energy transactions. In addition, Scott developed his expertise by working through financial restructurings, credit administration and asset management functions. Prior to his MBA and work on Wall Street, Scott spent over a decade as a Project Manager, leading teams to the successful completion of construction and development projects for high-technology clients, both domestically and internationally.
Scott is a registered professional engineer and a certified mediator.
Scott holds a BS in civil engineering from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Thunderbird.
Why Bridge Bank?
“The Bank offers a superior platform to perform for creative-minded companies and technology, and lacks the large corporate environment of a major bank which often stifles growth and innovation. A clear example of this was the decision by the executive team and Board to form EIG as a new group.”
