Role and Experience:
Joe Baker is a Vice President with the SBA and Real Estate Lending Division of Bridge Bank where he oversees the marketing efforts of the division in the Bank’s East Bay market. Joe began in banking in 1977 and has worked in Commercial Lending since 1985. Joe joined Bridge Bank in May of 2010.

Joe has worked on the financing of hundreds of Bay Area companies throughout all stages of their business cycle, as well as the financing of commercial real estate projects throughout the Bay Area and the state. Prior to joining Bridge Bank he was a Business Development Officer with the SBA Department of Comerica Bank where he worked for 25 years and originated over $300 million in loans. Previous to that Joe held the position of Senior Financial Analyst with Bank of America at their headquarters in San Francisco. Joe has been an associate member of a number of real estate related organizations including CAMB, NAIOP, and ASVB and EBBA.

Outside Activities:
Joe has been active in coaching youth sports for the past 20 years, spent six years (one year as President) on the Board of Camp Fire Boys and Girls of Santa Clara County serving 50,000 children in the county, was a six-year member of the Finance Committee of St. Martin of Tours Parish and a three-year member of the School Site Council at San Martin-Gwinn Elementary School, as well as having served a number of years on the Alumni Board of Notre Dame de Namur University.

Education:
Joe holds both a BS in finance and an MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University.
