Role and Experience:
Jeff Whalen has 32 years of corporate commercial banking experience in the Bay Area, mostly in the South Bay. Jeff’s areas of expertise include development and management of union trust administrator accounts, Taft-Hartley accounts, 1031 exchange facilitators, as well as major title company accounts. He has extensive experience in providing banking solutions to manufacturing and distribution companies, wholesalers, real estate firms, professionals, high net worth individuals and Taft-Hartley union trust administrations. Over the years, Jeff has worked at numerous local banks including Union Bank San Jose, Plaza Bank of Commerce, Silicon Valley Bank and Cupertino National/Greater Bay Bank where he was Regional Manager of the San Jose office. In all banks he was responsible for developing new business in both the loan and deposit arena.

Outside Activities:
Jeff is a founding Board member of the Archbishop Mitty High School Alumni Association and Charity Golf Tournament, as well as a member of the San Jose Rotary Club. He is an ardent outdoorsman, having traveled the world to pursue his passion for skiing, surfing and fly-fishing.

Education:
Jeff attended Santa Clara University and holds a BA from San Jose State University.
